Chebby

I'm rethinking my next car..
Leaning towards a 1964 or 1963 Impala or better yet a Bel Air 4 door post..
Can't splain it... I want to drive around in one..
It's true, they just float down the road..

yeah, this one is real good

the white roof I like, cant do 100 spokes myself...paint is a bit too flashy

getting back to my south side of Chicago roots.. hardtop though .
Hey Pancho I'll be calling you soon.

So-Cal Tex

And his old 1932 Ford 3 window coupe
We did up a frame on my old 1932 frame jig a few years back
And my pal John helped the old body get back solid.
Cool old hot rod with a look all it's own.

El Mirage 1941 !

I had it on the backside of my business cards once...

A quickie from back then too
off to lay on the sofa.. couple hours of two and half men reruns...ease the ol' back.

old sedan

I sold Andy the body and the double Z'd frame
He's been driving it for a few years now.
Just saw it on craigslist for sale,(I'm sure it's on the hambo too)

Good parts, lazy sloppy workmanship.
If you could buy it right, it wouldn't be hard to un whizbang it.
He once installed a trans cooler by zip tying it to the p/s ladder bar.
Pull off the goofy big grill shell for starters. And remove all the speaker box carpeting.

It has a pretty good sedan body and solid foundation.. The 50 Merc wheels came from my stash
and the dash board I picked up at the Chickasha swap meet.
Guessing he needs cash for a lawyer. (funny story on its own)

Bill's sedan update

Well, not entirely new news. Got a repaint last year.
It is getting a new blower motor soon.
Double Z'd frame, no chop no channel
Sounds like a chop is in the future too.
Looks classy reminds me of a tuxedo

sedans - compare

Had a good talk the other day with a pro builder.
Spoke about the difficulty of keeping it simple.
I had showed him some samples of customers cars.
With my chassis as a solid foundation it's up to you on the build.
From "jagged and ragged to clean and mean"

Here is three examples of sedans.. on a real guys budget

Matt's 440 Mopar powered 1930 sedan. You must admit, it has attitude

Super solid construction, yet a very edgy appearance
This is Jason's SBC tri-power 1930 sedan
smooth primer, gloss frame and firewall

some flashy bits, Buick drums three carbs
but come on, you could build one like this too !
Rosey yanked apart a old amateur resto for his sedan

I get a ride in it if I ever make it to Alabama

flat black, red wheels, white walls, flathead and zoomie pipes
hell this must be one of those rat rods !
His first time chopping a car ! Super driving machine

Thin Air Nationals

35th year they have done this show.
Rode up with Colorado Kid and the couple in the 1940 convertible
Goggle is fighting me bad..browsers and shit..
Let's see if I can post the pix
riding shotgun in a roadster is almost as fun as driving one

yumm corned beef hash and eggs

let's get high, rocky mountain high

interesting mix on this roadster,
old and new. I'd never put a auto behind a flatty

I like old Fords

cool 1957 Chevy gasser

1932 Vicky- paint by Wayne !

YES

oh YES !

nice little Mustang motor

chopped hard

top up, yeah we got some rain..
