One more on the road.

Gary sent me a nice note and a picture. Thanks bud

Dear Vaphead
Sorry I didn't contact you earlier.  The 26 Tudor is done and your frame worked wonderful. Build took a while but finally done.  We're gonna drag her to Syracuse in July. Thanks again for a job well done. Gary Herman Corfu NY (Buffalo). PS I sent a pic from when you shipped it.  Feel free to use me for a reference anytime.

Jeff's T coupe, update

Little picture study of chopping down a Model A grill shell

Keep in mind he has a Model T and has channeled the body over the frame
(so most wouldn't be as short)

James T coupe update

The lakes aren't frozen yet in Minnesota.. why did I type that?
James has is T coupe running ! Always fun to hear it run for the first time.
Big tires, Zoomies, shotgun scoop. Cragar five spokes ! Looks like a classic hot rod theme

"I have the old 26 running.  Love the stance of the Riley slant frame.  The gauges are in the valve cover above the windshield.  383 w/700R4.  58 olds rear and disc all 4.   It has been a fun project.   I’m getting body ready for paint. " James H -MN

I'd cut those seats down, keep below the back window..just saying

AJ's Model T frame replacement project 1st update

You saw a little of their project when I posted the frames ahoy on it.
Well they have the frame now and already working on it.
in their truck on shipping pallet

new frame next to old chassis

New one is based on Model A sizing, not skinny T spec's

In shop next to the body

Thanks Eric, the new frame arrived Friday. That is one good looking frame, very nice. Attached are pictures. I have included Andre's email with this email also.

Our question; Do you have some sort of list on the parts and prices we would need to make it a rolling chassis? So that we know what we need and about what the cost will be.

Thanks A.J. & Andre

Yes, I can email quotes for the parts you will need.
Normally break it down into sections,
Front end, rear suspension, etc.
Thanks for the pictures and the note

Model T coupe on the road

Steve just sent me these pix.
Put in a new motor and has been out driving it.
Went to Billetproof WA in it !

Really like the plain and simple look, and then the whitewalls
add just the right amount of pop

Puget Sound in the back ground

pick up truck grill

just right stance

Old race cars

Love looking at the details of a purpose built antique race car.
The drop down on the side is too cool in this shot.

looks rather like a hot rod
I like the old "bugs"
that's what we called Bugatti's when we had a warehouse full

D.M.'s Texas T update

Hey ! There it is. 1926-7 T roadster front half.
Custom sized swept front frame
The boys at Howel's sheet metal are going to build a little bed for it.
So that makes it a roadster pick up.
And thanks again Howel's sheet metal for handling the receiving of the frame for D.M.

hot rodders always have another one in mind...

Doing up a new frame for D.M. down in Beaumont TX.
Building a custom 1927 T roadster modified project.

Here is his old 1934 coupe. You can tell he has good taste in cars.
The little roadster should be a fun car to take a drive over to
Sabine Pass Battleground State Historical Park ..
Or maybe drive over to Boomtown BBQ Co. ?
