Custom frame for a custom truck.
Off to Texas ( see what I'm talking about?)
Got caught in a rain storm.

30 minutes earlier I was in the pouring rain.
had to wipe the frame down with WD-40
before painting a good wax and grease remover
will take it off.

Nice words

Got a nice note the other day.
I will try to get more pictures, the car is now in North Carolina, and I am in Pa.  He is still in the Military and has the car with him.  He is currently deployed, and I will get more pictures when he gets back.  The frame was great and it was very  easy to set up the suspension, both front and rear, 4" dropped axel on the front and the triangulated rear set up with an 8" Ford rear fit perfectly.  The transmission cross member fit the Chevy 350 trans with no modifications, the 283 Chevy bored to 292 cubes bolted right in as did the Walker Radiator.  We chopped the 32 Ford grill 6"  and it all bolted in place.  It was a fun build for me and drives great.  I can't say to much about the frame, I have built a lot of Hot rods, and the Riley Frame ranked with the best, in fact right at the top of the best.  Ernie

Ernie, is Tyler's dad. See the Tudor below.

Tres Chic sedan update ! rolled outside

Tony sent me some pictures of the "tres chic" sedan
Do a search in the little box in the upper left corner.
Put in tres chic and you can see the progression.
Nice work bud ! It really looks good. Great choice in tires and wheels.
Tony stepped up and got the complete chrome front end too.
The chopped but not channeled, sitting on top of the swept frame. Just a perfect hot rod stance

reminds me how far away I am with my 29 sedan ...

Matt's truck update engine/trans in

Remember when I showed you the color on the engine?
See we had a plan. The wheels and engine green.
The chassis and suspension will be black (different levels of gloss for contrast)
And the cab and bed will remain primer grey.
This is going to be a cool little pick up.

Old race cars

Love looking at the details of a purpose built antique race car.
The drop down on the side is too cool in this shot.

looks rather like a hot rod
I like the old "bugs"
that's what we called Bugatti's when we had a warehouse full

Victor frame, lots of Rich's own handy work.

Willy is working hard on his coupe project I bet the thoughts of a roof keep him going
(Search my blog for willy in the upper left corner)

nice old body will not be getting new paint
small rear kick sized just for this frame
