Sat Sun Jimmy in PA update

Sat, missed a blog again.. Well it was Christmas shopping at the mall. Didn't even think about cars.

Sunday, little sneak peak at Jimmy's Ford truck.
The spare tire rollers throw things off visually , but I can see he's been working on it.
Nice job on the bed. Add a little panel below at the front only.
Good place to mount a vintage gross weight plaque.. or louvers?

Ed's 1935

Fancy name uh? Yeah the official name for this one is Ed's 1935

We built Ed a El Roberto truck chassis a few months back.
Hooked him up with Jerry here in CO. for the 1935 truck cab
(he specializes in 1935-36 Ford trucks)
Got the cab shipped out via U-ship.
And now he's ready to get started, first on the list, chopping the top !
Keep the pictures flowing this way... you can be famous like "Joe's 37"

Chris, this is the new 9" we use for the truck chassis

axle on top, we designed it that way
the split wishbone brackets are photo shopped and way bigger then what we use.
glad to build one for you. Started to get backed up in production.. Let's finalize that order

Bean Town Bobber update

Peter sent me pictures of the frame as a roller.
Big ol' quick change rear end.  500 inch Cadillac motor ?
My buds from Rally America built the wire wheels for it.
And with Peter's background in paint you know this one is going to be good.

that's gonna look good under the pick up bed, barely peeking out

looking towards the stern from the bow

always a big moment, rolling outside on it's own wheels

new wire wheels made for this pick up project

Frames Ahoy ! oh boy it's cold !

Did up a chassis package for Jimmy in NJ
He's got a 1935 Chevy pick up that will soon be a hot rod.
I shipped via Western Freightways. Bruce was helpful over there.
( trucking co's like to say no drop offs when snowy, forklift cant make ramp)
Well my ol F250 2wd backed right up that ramp son.

Jimmy, will send over more info later tonight.
Got a school deal for my daughter

had to build the pallet half way in
so I could load it by myself

boxes all banded down, nothing fragile in em
long forks get it done
..
inside nice and warm? inside anyway

El Roberto, the truck chassis

The fender free truck chassis has been going nuts this last week.
Sold another one today. Going up to NJ for Jimmy.
Doing a 1935 Chevy cab and 4' bed for him.

I'm a old Ford guy, but when it comes to trucks anything from the 1930's is cool.
So grab that cab, give me a call 1-800-530-7636
and lets get started on building a cool fender-less pick up truck hot rod !

Costa Rica update

Tak, down at Costa Rica hot rods sent in a few early update pictures.
Sent basically a roller chassis for the 1937 Ford special pick up.
It was just one month ago when I crated it all up..Far far away for sure.

It's our "bobber" type truck frame aka El Roberto !
Wait till you see the cab and engine mounted up.

really he is happy, just working hard

large size tires can work on fenderless trucks.
