My old pal Pancho has a 1964 Chevy problem.
I'd like to have just one clean simple one ....

In the beginning ..

Matt got his frame home safe and sound.
( see last Monday's post)
Hope to see the suspension assembled and installed soon.
It will be a cool old Chevy truck hot rod when done.

Custom Chevy frame? yeah we can do that.

Here's the style Randy is after. Mean chopped coupe.
Blown hemi too. A old drag/Bonneville racer look.
Should be pretty cool. Glad to build it for ya.

Chevy

Hmm
how about a 1963 2 door post, done up like a Super Stock drag car from 1963 ?
Wouldn't do the lettering on my own street car.
I'm thinking chrome wheels on the front, and black steelies on the rear
Up 2" in front and down 2" in the rear...

the ultimate tire, Atlas Bucron

Biscayne 1968 Biscayne station wagon

Y'all know I like the big ol Chevrolet's. And the uncool models are better.
How about a slammed wagon !?
I goof off a lot on tumblr, have a look at this one

This guy has been doing a bunch with the old drawings and factory photo's
http://slammedbrochurecars.tumblr.com/
click on it, fun scrolling thru the images.

I remember yanking a 327 out of a 1968 2 door fastback and throwing the car away.
(wrecking yard down the street took it for free) J & L ???  I will think about the name...

Even ugly forgotten cars look good slammed on the ground
Case in point- 1965 Mercury 2 and 4 door Monterey

I'm on tumblr as ....you guessed it vaphead. If you follow the blog a lot of the pictures will look familiar to you. http://vaphead.tumblr.com/
