Farmer's Daughter update
Update? I guess it is.
I have a lot of 16g sheet metal rems
Not a lot holding the old body together at the moment
So started the drive shaft tunnel
Keeping it simple
Moved the rear body crossmember forward 4? inches or so
Made it so the three cross members are evenly spaced.
Here's what I got done on a Sunday afternoon in my driveway..

air bag
Well, we're doing up a air bag chassis for a 1936 Ford pick up.
As much as I like the tried and true parallel springs on the El Roberto chassis,
Sometimes we gotta do something different. (when the customer insists )
Picture on the layout table, showing the basic design we got going.
Good thing he has a 5' bed too. The long bars we are using end right at the
back of the cab.

CC Rider? SS ?
SS for "Super Slammed"
CC Rider a play on the owner of the first one..
Need to price it all out..The Magnum 5" axle and the Durant mono spring
flat front crossmember ... all adds up .
This one will be low but still can take a decent sized radiator in the right spot.
(axle centerline)
Has a 6" and 14" kick in the back. Will work with large diameter wheels/tires.
Like some of those 18" wire wheels I've seen on some
