Y'all know I like the big ol Chevrolet's. And the uncool models are better.
How about a slammed wagon !?
I goof off a lot on tumblr, have a look at this one
This guy has been doing a bunch with the old drawings and factory photo's
http://slammedbrochurecars.tumblr.com/
click on it, fun scrolling thru the images.
I remember yanking a 327 out of a 1968 2 door fastback and throwing the car away.
(wrecking yard down the street took it for free) J & L ??? I will think about the name...
Even ugly forgotten cars look good slammed on the ground
Case in point- 1965 Mercury 2 and 4 door Monterey
I'm on tumblr as ....you guessed it vaphead. If you follow the blog a lot of the pictures will look familiar to you. http://vaphead.tumblr.com/
I'm here for you

two wheels
I like bikes. Been riding dirt bikes my whole life.
Built my first chopper at 10 years old..(modified Schwinn)
Been looking and thinking about a simple little "cut down" bike.
The Yamaha XS650 is a good one..or maybe a thumper 500 single Honda..
here's one I like a whole lot.
the pipes following the frame disappear almost.

Time off,and sloppy fab work sample
Honestly, I'm taking the week off.(But I'm still working)
But let's go to a long lunch !
Won't always be on the phone....but will be checking emails.
Look closely at this turd...that steering is horrible !
and no shocks..and alternator brackets welded to frame...
and those sexy headers show off your fab skilzz
And why is it that the turd rodders end up with tunnel rams ??
Always wondered why you see the swedged aluminum tubing used on turd rods,
looked them up today. Because they're cheap. $15.00 each...Stupid heim ends all over..
I learned a long time ago. Copy OEM. That means do what the factory did.
Did Ford Chrysler etc.. use aluminum tubing for steering? No. Did they use heim ends? No. They used steel and always had tie rod ends on the end of the tie rods. Copy that.
You can apply it to the smallest thing.. Did the factory use zip ties to hold fuel line? No.
Copy OEM, steel lines and secure mounts Anyway, enough of my ranting..build em safe.
