every day it's getting closer.
Steering column and wheel installed. Steering u-joints and shaft too.
Stock rear view mirror looks good.

1929 coupe -mean green Sundays post on Monday

DG has the wheels painted the green they will be.
I like the mean green. The body my end up black?

WTF front axle

Look at his front axle set up..  WTF !
Quarter elliptical springs and split bones , cowl steering, tie rod out front.
and what's the big panhard bar axle binder thing?
What a mess.

I've tried 4 or 5 times to send these over to you .. kept bouncing back..

I don't know what to say.

The four door sedan with the front doors removed is kinda a neat idea.

Joe's truck major update.... attention !

The frame has been painted !
Nice semi gloss black.
That means it is going into final assembly y'all !

Now everything goes on for real. Lock washers, grease, and wiring etc.

SEAHAWKS !

dude drug this by my place.. said it was from a race car.
Please race cars have four wheels
Said it was mostly old Ford
yeah, the valve covers say Ed Del Brock .. that doesn't sound like a Ford
And the caps have same dude with wings coming out his ears.
And the tires were bald.
Crushed it .

Front end Oops !

Stamped "Street Rodder" but I don't know more then that.

Look closely at this front end....
As a curved leaf spring compresses it gets flatter.
We all will agree to that right?
Well it also gets longer. (That's why you see shackles on leaf springs.)
But in this set up, as the spring compresses it will push on the bottom of the axle
Changing the caster as the axle goes up and down.
I don't know what they did (or even if this was finished) for steering.
That could get tricky too.
looks like it would have side steer. Every bump would jiggle the steering. ( I'm being nice)

The frame ends what 12 inches behind the axle.  Hey what about shocks ! ?
And where does the radiator go? Or headlights ?
If you know the issue this was in, let me know. Would like to see what this was all about.

In final assembly Matt decided to break out the skill saw.
Nice bed rails. The new owner can paint a catchy phrase on it.
( yes he will be selling this truck when finished)

This year has started out with a bang !
I like big sales, being busy. Working on a Bonneville styled project too.
My sedan has not been touched in weeks. And I now have a cold .. but that won't stop me
