Yes I do like the SBC, but we can build you a frame for any engine.
Oldsmobile, Chrysler hemi, Pontiac , flathead Ford, SBF, BBC, big block Fords,
500 Cadillac ! (real long) Nailheads, just a quick list of ones we have done.
All pictures are engines in a Riley Automotive chassis !

Jano's 1946 Ford truck update

This will be a old patina truck.
Jano is a crafty guy. Here's a couple picture..

Raised bed floor made from old lumber
Looks like old semi trailer decking , fits the weathered look perfectly.

tricky !  fuel tank and battery underneath the hard cover

Frames Ahoy !

Simple swept front out the door !

Custom coupe, update ? kinda

Frankie received the parts we sent out.
Simple update, but the pictures just look real nice.
Here's the start on his Kustom Koupe .

chrome shocks to add a bit of sparkle to the suspension.
All USA made hot rod parts right here folks.

Nascar , on Comet ! on Galaxie ! on Torino !

when mid sized cars mixed it up with full sized cars.

Some great looking cars. I like how some guys think lowering and filling the fenders up with tire
is some new thing.
I think a Comet or Chevelle built like this today would be great. Steel wheels only !

really just some cool old pictures to look (easy blog post)  .. Christmas break is near ... ho ho ho ho

Paul and Zach , coupe update

16 year old Zach welding on the coupe body.
Father and son project
Doesn't that look like a good time !
(I finished a 1966 Mustang with my dad when I was that age)
It's coming along nicely, will be a real nice hot rod when done.

Sat Sun Jimmy in PA update

Sat, missed a blog again.. Well it was Christmas shopping at the mall. Didn't even think about cars.

Sunday, little sneak peak at Jimmy's Ford truck.
The spare tire rollers throw things off visually , but I can see he's been working on it.
Nice job on the bed. Add a little panel below at the front only.
Good place to mount a vintage gross weight plaque.. or louvers?

RS 1930 Ford , the start of something special

Just finishing up a custom chassis for Santo.
I'm calling the project the "RS"  as in Red Sedan , it's not a Rally Sport Camaro

Way down low, and tall rear tires !  Like 35" tall, wait till you see it up on wheels.
I like doing the custom stuff, but my old grey beard leans me towards traditional stuff.
This one is going to be pretty wild. But still will be a good driving machine

it will sitting lower then this on the frame. Say good bye to the stock inner wheel wells.

He's keeping busy as he waits on me, cut the guts out of the stock tank. Dirty job but someone had to do it !

Pretty nice old sedan body. No need for a bunch of sheet metal repairs on this one

Kustom Koupe has started !

Haven't built anything yet.
But we have laid the plans out and it's a go.
Going to do up a rolling chassis for F.K. in CA.

Here's the basis for all this;

little ol' chopped 1930 Ford coupe body.

It's all gonna happen not far from here. The Santa Susana Tunnel. Got nothing to do? Bored at work and checking out my blog? Google it, learn some early California rail road history. Still in use
(finished in 1904 ! )

Doug's Tudor update,

Well, he would have had it up on four wheels,
if it wasn't for me forgetting the spindle nuts and washers in his order.

Super Cool chopped 1930 Tudor body
And a good ol' swept front chassis
I've been working 12 hours straight.. can't think of a funny nic name for it

Sunday Monday

oops I missed a post for Sunday.
So here's one that is double special to make up for it !

Spoke with a customer about channeling.
4" is all that is needed.
Here is some examples on our chassis

Here's the Kansas Koupe on our swept front frame.
Channeled 4", love the blown hemi !

Ron's coupe is chopped and channeled over our Double Z'd frame

Jeff's coupe is old school east coast. Not chopped. It is channeled 4" over our Double Z'd frame
(soon to be in Traditional Rod and Kulture)

Now let me find some sedan/Tudors ..

Matt's cover car !  440 cubic inches of Mopar. Chopped and channeled over our Double Z'd frame

So let's see here, a blown hemi, hemi, SBC, and a 440.
All channeled over our double z'd frame. And they all are real driving cars.
and all have radiators in correct location. I think ol' Mike needs to rethink his words.
