Model A morphed !

I reached out to a customer of mine that I hadn't heard from in a couple years.
Was looking to see how the 1931 Model A turned out on the swept frame I built him.
Well low and behold , he turned it into a chopped channeled sectioned Plymouth truck.
Won the Peoples choice award last Fathers Day up in Idaho

not much left of what I built. But he's happy.

pork fat - another winner of chassis design

My pal sent these pictures of a fenderless truck
He knows I have a soft spot for them..
Came from some pork fat site? hammy bones?

As Guy Fieri would say "winner winner chicken dinner"

ah what the hell let's stick the radiator here

nice trans mount
I think this will need a whole oceans worth of fish plates
look at the front crossmember ! ?

a "pro shop" did this work
Hasn't figured out what a mitered joint is
(To find the cut angle divide the angle at which the two pieces meet by two)

Frames Ahoy Jeff in MI

backing up onto the loading dock

new guy driving
blocked off the other end
and wrote instructions on this end..
bolted the double Z'd frame upside down to the pallet

Another hot rod coupe is started !

383 SBC 700R4 and his Riley Automotive Double Z'd frame
on his trailer at home ! Safe and sound.Looks like they busted up the front of the pallet a little
Hey forklift guys ! when it's 11' long use the long forks !

The old coupe gets a new chance at life !
Are those KH wires? recoupe some money there !

next time we see it , it will be primered !
down there bare metal rusts up real fast..

wow - some folks - frame ?

Don't know who built this one.
Customer sent it to me as a joke.
(if it's yours I'll remove this, let me know)

The non tapered front rails are just the start of the ugly

When someone tries to weld a rounded edge to a rounded edge..
well it never looks good. And stacking the rails is such a bad way to go.
And those disgusting fabricated front cross members, yuck.

must have got tired and figured "ey the frame can stop here"
Not sure what holds up the rear -where does spring go?
Never mind body mounts, who needs em !
